Restore the Glory - 140 Day Challenge

The Opera House, built in 1881, is a three-story historic icon in downtown Howell. It was purchased by the Livingston Arts Council (LAC) in 2000 to create a quality arts and cultural center to serve Livingston County and the surrounding area.

The first floor, renovated in 2007, is used today by the community for a variety of public and private activities. The original theatre resides on the upper floors and has not been restored but is available for tours.
